Nevis, the smaller island of the Caribbean island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis is 36 square miles of lush green vegitation with a rainforest and mountain peak at its center. It is separated from St. Kitts by a 2-mile wide channel and like her sister island was a major sugar producing center from colonial times when the British set up their plantations here. Many of these have been converted into inns. Green vervet monkeys can be spotted in the trees or amid tropical foiliage. Nevis has a quiet, easy-going atmosphere and although many activities can be found, relaxing in a hammock is probably the most popular.
Island Inns specializes in luxury hotels and villas throughout the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
