BEING GREEN
Pine Cay is a Green Island! As a green resort, The Meridian Club, Turks & Caicos supported environmental conservation as a matter of conscience long before it became fashionable to do so. Most of the island is designated green space and will remain so. Recently, we have taken advantage of new green technology and made some operational changes to further our role as stewards of the Turks and Caicos environment.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The Meridian Club offers guests twelve Beachfront Club Rooms, four Premium Rooms (air conditioning included), one Sand Dollar Cottage and private homes for rent. Each one of our 13 units looks out to a breathtaking two-mile-long beach, which has been named one of the Caribbean’s best. All are spacious and suite-like, with a large bedroom and separate lounging alcove, leading into screened-in porches overlooking the sea. The breeze from ceiling fans rotating overhead joins the gentle trade winds, and flows through large windows and patio doors. Air conditioning isn’t necessary but it is offered in four of our premium units.
NOTE: No lock, no phone, no televisions (it’s what we don’t have that makes our guests return again and again)

1 - 4 Bedrooms
Some of the island's privately owned homes are available for weekly rentals, with or without a meal plan. Some overlook the beach, while others have breathtaking island views. Recommended only for those able to enjoy a more independent island experience.

The homes range from modern luxury to those more in keeping with the casual island lifestyle, each with its own distinctive appeal.

DRESS
Dress is casual and shoes are optional, even at dinner. Bathing suits with cover-ups or sport clothes are the norm at lunch. Informal summer evening clothes for ladies, and sport shirts, slacks and even shorts for men, are perfect for dinner.

DINING

THE BISTRO The Meridian Club Bistro is located on the main floor of the clubhouse, with the lounge and bar area located on the second floor. Offering spectacular views of the pool, beach and breathtaking sunsets, the upstairs lounge is a delightful venue for the daily social hour. Dinner by candlelight in The Meridian Club Bistro, almost always featuring fresh catch of the day, follows in the open-air dining room or dining by your private beach out under the stars if you choose. Chef David’s multi-course tasting menu features fresh seafood – locally caught ocean fish, lobster and conch prepared in various styles – as well as choices such as steak, chops, rack of lamb, duck and Cornish hen. Vegetarian meals and special requests are happily accommodated. Desserts are a specialty at The Bistro – always freshly prepared, always a variety to select from and wonderfully presented. Coffee and cordials are available after your meal.
