LOCATION
Kamalame Cay is a private island resort near Staniard Creek off the northeast coast of Andros Island in The Bahamas.
ACCESS
Accessible by private ferry or seaplane. The closest airport is Andros Town (ASD). You have the option of flying from Fort Laudeerdale (approximately 1 hour) or Nassau (approximately 15 minutes). This is followed by a 20-minute drive and five-minute private ferry to Kamalame Cay.

SCUBA AND SNORKELLING
Situated on the resort’s Marina dock, Kamalame’s fully equipped, PADI rated Dive Centre is staffed with experienced instructors whos offer a range of PADI certification including resort courses and excursions for divers, non-divers, snorkelers and children.
All experience levels are catered to from Blue Hole or Barrier Reef expeditions to snorkelling jaunts to nearby islets and coves. Amazingly diverse marine life and 100-foot visibility, ensures an exceptional underwater adventure.
The world’s third largest yet least unexplored barrier reef lies adjacent to the shores and offers Coral Gardens, Wrecks, Walls, Caverns and Blue Holes. Ranging from near vertical wall dives with dramatic ledges and caves to shallow back-reefs abounding with reef fish and invertebrates, some of the world’s most diverse sea creatures can be seen here.

BONE FISHING Excellent flats filled with silvery bonefish lie just offshore in the ‘Bonefish Capital of the World’. Chase these ever-elusive fish on a small boat navigated by one of the resort’s highly qualified guides.
DEEP SEA FISHING Just 100 metres from the world’s third longest barrier reef, the deep blue waters off the coast of Kamalame are very much alive with marine life. Anglers target dorado, wahoo, king mackerel, snapper, tuna, mahi mahi, barracuda, shark, and grouper on a seasonal basis
SEA KAYAKS Paddle along gentle inland creeks or explore further off the coast. Guided tours that include lunch are easily arranged.
