Vista Villa is a fully air conditioned, three bed room, three bath waterfront villa overlooking Virgin Gorda's North Sound. Virgin Gorda, the most scenic of the British Virgin Islands, is the home of the world famous Baths and is a favorite sailing, diving, snorkeling and water sports location. The villa has recently been completely refurbished, has a fully outfitted kitchen, and features a large wrap around deck overlooking the Sound. There is also a large family room.
Vista Villa is part of the community of Leverick Bay on the northern end of the island. It is situated on a large lot directly on the sound with native stone steps leading down to a private dock and across a waterfront boardwalk to the Leverick Bay marina, resort and beach.
Virtually any type of island recreational activity is available within a few minutes walk of Vista Villa. Dive BVI's scuba diving boats leave from the Leverick Bay dock. Dingy, powerboat, Hobie Cat, windsurfer, and snorkeling equipment rentals are available on the dock, directly in front of Vista Villa. Fishing and day sail excursions, water skiing, and a water taxi service are also available through Leverick Bay Watersports. Leverick Bay Resort, right next door, features a beach, fresh water pool, a tennis court, beach bar, and gourmet restaurant. All are available for use by Vista Villa residents together with the Pusser’s clothing store, gift shops, a spa, and the fully stocked food market, all within a few minutes walk. Use of the swimming pool and beach is complementary.
Jeep rentals and taxies can be found at Leverick Bay Resort as well. From Leverick Bay, it is a scenic drive over the mountain road to Virgin Gorda’s many beautiful beaches, the Baths, several first class restaurants, bars and resorts, and "The Valley", Virgin Gorda’s downtown with more shopping, food and entertainment. Within North Sound several restaurants and resorts can be reached by dinghy including The Bitter End, Saba Rock, Biras Creek, the Fat Virgin Café, and the Sand Box. Many of the resort restaurants will pick you up from the dock in front of Vista Villa for dinner and bring you back afterwards. For a really exotic lunch, take a day sail charter or excursion boat north to Anegada, the BVI’s best-kept secret and the only Virgin Island, which is not mountainous. You can easily get there in time for snorkeling and lunch at Loblolly Bay, on Anegada's north shore, or shop and enjoy local drinks and dishes at one of the restaurants near the south shore anchorage.
